Fleur de Thenac, Cotes de Bergerac 2009 @ £9.95

With a truly stunning and intense purple robe, this juice has a complex nose which draws you in towards the wine’s depth and richness. Red fruits mixed with roasted hazelnuts and spicy vanilla oak. This is a powerful yet smooth and balanced wine which will age beautifully.

L'Expression de Margaux 2007 @ £23.95

A dark ruby/purple colour is accompanied by notes of spring flowers, black currants, and blackberries, a soft, lush, medium to full-bodied mouth feel, and delicacy allied to impressive depth, texture, and length. The richly fruity, delicious, already complex 2007 Margaux is another surprise and delicious to drink now.

Chateau Cissac, Haut Medoc 2010 @ £16.95

Chateau Cissac’s very interesting Haut Medoc is a ripe, refined Medoc from one of the most incredible vintages in living memory. This huge blend is aged in oak casks (old and new) for up to 20 months before bottling. With strong and beautiful aromas of dark fruits, you’re sure to have a fantastic time with this ruby wonder.

Le Xi Terre Bardolino 2015 @ £14.95

A beautiful ruby red colour with massive berry-fruit aromas from the start. Hints of cinnamon and cloves complete the nose and find their way onto the palate. Big, dry, rounded and fresh. Beautiful easy drinking for these warm days.

Toblino Lagrein Dunkel 2013 @ £16.95

Intense and almost garnet in colour, this complex and distinctive wine has aromas of fresh berries and vanilla pouring from it. Beautifully structured and well balanced whilst having a lovely softness that completes this wine.

Ronon by Clinet 2012 @ £12.95

Year on year, the attention to detail given to this mini Clinet draws closer to the Grand Vin. The wine is rich, round, open and expressive. Loaded with black a red fruit with a beautiful texture. Delicious on its own would be a fantastic accompaniment to roast lamb or grilled red meats.

Fleur de Clinet 2010 @ £27.95

Dark ruby in colour, the fantastic scent on the nose gives notes of the greatest Pomerol wines, complex yet fresh aromas of raspberry, blackberry, black pepper, Earl Grey tea and lavender. Very silky tannins mixed with lush flavours of red fruit prolong its expression on the palate, with its intensity lingering with hints of spice, liquorice and brown sugar.

Both of these are a lovely accompaniment to anything big and meaty... maybe a barbecue is in order...

The sun is finally out and going strong! How about we crack out something nice and cold and sparkling? Our house champagne shows the big players that you don't need to spend a tonne of money to get some real quality.

Janisson Baradon Nv Champagne @ £19.95

Beautiful light yellow, almost straw colour. Big nose of fruity aromas with a gorgeous mousse on top. Stout and sharp mouth all at once. Pleasant and decorated with a fruity flavour coating the mouth. It is a characterful and lively wine that reflects its terroir, which will bring you back every time. A quality unbeatable for this price.

As the sun gets brighter and brighter and the days get longer and longer we thought a lovely choice would be summery wines. The Americans can make some absolute beauties, especially Pinot Noir and Chardonnay!

La Crema Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2012 @ 25.95

For the first Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, a blend was chosen that best displayed the classic elegance, earthiness, focused acidity and vibrant fruit of the Willamette Valley while honoring the La Crema style, which emphasizes beautiful balance and supple texture. The nose is interesting and complex with hints of star anise, marionberry, violets (an Oregon native) and bay leaf, while the palate displays more coffee bean, pomegranate, brambly fruit, and candied orange zest.

La Crema Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2013 @ £21.95

This exceptional release offers up vibrant red cherry aromas that mingle with alluring cola, sweet spice and coffee bean tones. The palate is generous – reflecting this vintage's near-perfect ripening conditions. Brambly fruit flavours combine with black licorice and classic earthy notes. Excellent concentration and mature, beautifully textured tannins create a broad, supple mouthfeel that lingers well into the back palate

La Crema Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2014 @ £17.95

This wine opens with layered aromas of fresh Meyer lemon, shortbread and ripe pear. On the palate are flavors of baked, locally grown, Gravenstein apple framed by hints of sweet spice and white peach. The end result is a broad, juicy, and beautifully balanced mouthfeel.

La Crema Monterey Chardonnay 2014 @ £17.95

Oak smoke, vanilla and an underlying aroma of crisp apple show on the nose of this widely available wine, a reliable choice for all types of parties. Apple and pear lead into white peach on the palate, with a strong oaky seasoning.

Made from 60% Grenache and 40% Cinsault, it’s light pink color is followed by perfumed notes of strawberries, orange blossom and spring flowers.
