I'm rather excited to talk about this! We finally have a new malbec and it's a rather serious one to say the least. Shall we find out a little more?

Nicola Catena planted his first Malbec vineyard in Mendoza in 1902. His grandson, Nicolás Catena, is known as the man who revolutionized Argentine wine and introduced high altitude Malbec to the world. The Historic Catena Zapata vineyards are planted with the Catena family’s proprietary selection of malbec plants: the Catena Cuttings. Catena Alta Malbec is sourced from Block 18 of the Angélica vineyard, Block 4 of the La Pirámide vineyard, Block 1 of the Nicasia vineyard and Blocks 3 & 9 of the Adrianna vineyard.

You will not be disappointed by this. It's glass after glass of perfection. Come and get it. Cheers!

I think this has somehow escaped our loving gaze. Personally, I cannot get enough of this. Its perfectly balanced and has a little bit of everything you could want. Let's have a read.

The Château is not only architecturally impressive, but it has an equally impressive winemaking history. The castle was built in the 16th century and attests to the presence of vines having been planted around it in 1785. It became the property of the Luquot family in 1907 and has subsequently been managed by the family and handed down through the generations. The Luquot family has invested in the vineyard and the cellar with the aim of expressing the authentic quality of their unique soils. The Château is now in the hands of the fourth generation who continues to invest and produces a wine which is truly expressive of this historic Grand Cru terroir.

Rosé week continues and it's back to our roots with this one. Miraval will always be a part of Grand Cru Co as it's where we began and so it shall continue. Read on!

Château Miraval is located in the Provence village of Correns, the first 100% organic village in France. All of the crops, including grapes, are grown organically in this wild and picturesque town. Tucked away in its own private valley, the château is surrounded by ancient woodlands and olive groves. Following ancient Celtic and Roman occupation, the property served as a host to monastic practice and as a home to members of the French court in the 14th century. Since 2012, the Perrin family has been involved in wine production at the estate, and has overseen investment in the latest wine-making technology and innovation.

We love treating you guys to new stuff. This brand new prosecco is so fresh and just perfect for the summer. Let us find out more!

It is with hands dyed red from the Montello soil that the Pozzobon family created Case Paolin. In the early 1970s, Emilio the founder, a farmer and son of farmers, bought the estate where his father and his grandfather had worked as sharecroppers. Abandoning silkworms, he devoted himself entirely to the vineyard and passed on this passion to his three boys: Diego, Adelino and Mirco. Twenty years later, the children grew up to be men, ready to take over the reins of the winery, to transform it and lead it into the new century. In 2013, the first grandson was born, little Emilio, and the story continue.

Everyone has heard of Torres. They're one of the biggest producers in the world with some serious wines to show for it. This is one of their more simple styles but it will still be one you struggle to forget.

Founded in 1870 by Jaime Torres, Bodegas Torres (Miguel Torres SA) is a historical wine growing company located in Pacs, some 4 km from Vilafranca del Penedès, where the company has its head office. Torres is the family winery with the most extensive vineyards in the Denomination of Origin of Penedès and the largest winery in Spain.

They also run the Miguel Torres Chile winery in the Chilean Central Valley, and in the United States (California) where in 1986 Marimar Torres founded Marimar Estate. In Spain outside of the Torres family's native Penedès region, they own vineyards in DO Conca de Barberà, DO Toro, DO Jumilla, DO Ribera del Duero, DOQ Priorat and most recently in DOC Rioja - in the last three areas with new wineries or wineries under construction. Likewise, Torres is also Spain's largest producer of DO wines under its own label, exporting to more than 140 countries.
