A clear pale lemon colour. Floral aromas develop into fresh grass. On the palate, refreshing acidity is balanced with fruit flavours of green apple and white grapefruit.

A beautifully complex and overtly sauvage nose speaks of plum, red currant and red berry liqueur nuances that introduce delicious, round and quite supple middle weight flavors that possess reasonably good concentration, all wrapped in a dusty and moderately austere finish that delivers excellent length.

The 2009 Clos Vougeot is remarkably polished and fine in this vintage. It may ultimately prove to be better than the 2010 given that the heat of the year has tamed the tannins to such a significant degree. Orange marmalade, quince, salty minerality, white flowers, celery seed, and a touch of spice all emerge from the 2019 Saint Joseph Les Granits Blanc, which comes from one of the top terroirs in the appellation. Playing in the more full-bodied end of the spectrum, this incredible Saint-Joseph Blanc has a rounded, layered texture, a terrific sense of freshness and purity, classic Marsanne structure, and a great finish.

Purple colour with violet hues. On the nose, the wine offers a wide range of berry aromas (strawberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants) and also reveals some delicate toasted notes.

With its golden colour and silver hues, this Meursault offers aromas of apples and pears with a hint of spiciness. The onset in the mouth is dense, fleshy and full-bodied, with a finely crafted acidity giving it a fresh, mouth-watering finish.

On the palate, the tannins are round and soft, well-balanced and fruit forward. The softness and finesse of the 5% Viognier creates a wine that is more powerful and full bodied than a simple Syrah.

The wine is a pretty pale yellow in the glass, the nose is complex with layers of stoned and exotic fruits. To taste it does not disappoint, it’s round and full, achieved by six months lees aging, but retains citrusy freshness. Delightful.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Ripe peaches, plums, and lavender. Notes of pear and orange with a hint of honey, floral and herbal nuances.

Palate: “Melon and white raspberry, followed by underripe strawberry, peach, and pear.

Complemented by crisp acidity and a well-balanced body.” Finish: Grapefruit, stewed apples and a whisper of spice woven into a gentle, lengthy finish.

Made from 100% Grenache from the South of France, this stuff will blow you away with its incredibly balanced profile. Ripe peaches and plums mix beautifully with herbal and floral touches on the nose. Melon, sweet cherry and pear on the palate with wonderful acidity to boot. A long finish draws this one out into the history books as few will compete with this.

Golden in colour. Mandarin and peach fruit on the nose is balanced by distinctive honeyed citrus fruits. High acidity keeps it fresh in the mouth. This is delicious.

Blanc de Noir style, made from more than 80% Pinot Noir. Hand-harvested in openwork crates, it is then fermented on selected yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless-steel and with some 10% of the harvest fermented 6 months in old French oak barrels. It is then aged on fine lees in bottle for two years. Dosage approx. 7-8 grams/L. A lively, soulful and very Champagne-like blend with aromas and flavor of honey, butter, lemon zest, white pepper.

This wine offers a complex nose, minerally and fruity. It mingles aromas of ripe raspberry, black and morello cherries with hints of flint, ink, clove and black pepper. The highly vibrant palate has a sound underlying structure which is powerful yet velvety, thanks to tannins which, despite mellowing, are still very perceptible. This is a stylish wine bearing the hallmarks of its terroir with a long and spicy finish.
