Now what about what we have to offer...

Pol Roger NV Brut @ £39.95 p/bt
A truly beautiful example of a champagne from a very famous name. On the nose, the champagne is dominated by aromas of white flowers, green apples, brioche and a trace of some kind of minerality or steeliness. On the palate there are notes of stone fruits a certain nutty appeal and a hint of honey supporting the freshness of the acidity.

Pol Roger 2008 Brut @ £74.95 p/bt
Excellent purity and refinement on the nose, very focused. Autolytic complexity, toasted bread and pastry, but also red fruits and a hint of spice. The palate shows excellent depth of fruit but also a very firm, taut acidity to complement the richness. Long and persistent finish, very well integrated dosage and built for the long-haul.

Go on, treat yourself!
