Description
This fantastic red comes from Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Montepulciano grapes varieties which undergo an aging in steel and transfer to barriques for 8 months before being bottled. The result is a full-bodied ruby red colour with intense sensations of fruit, aromas of sweet spices and cherry. Elegant, soft, an easy-to-drink wine, which is best suited to the full flavours of first courses, risottos and aged cheeses. The Rosso di Montefalco can be aged for a further 4-5 years in the bottle if stored correctly.
