Torres Tormenta Sauvignon Blanc 2015

A wine of massive aromatic intensity and character, exploding with tropical notes (passion fruit and mango) with citric and woolly hints. On the palate the wine has a crisp but full-bodied mouth-feel giving way to more layers of flavour such as of passion fruit, lime, gooseberry and grapefruit. The finish is very long and velvety. Outstanding.

Torres  family had been producing  wines in Spain for the last  140 years and already owned vineyards for more than 300 years. Miguel A. Torres decided to start a project of producing wine in Chile on the advice of Alejandro Parot, a Chilean friend and classmate from his studies in Dijon.

Here the the extremely varied seasons and spectacular differences between the maximum and minimum temperatures due to the proximity of the Andes play a vital role in the production of wine. Torres is actually doing great things in South America. Not only do they give financially to support to the conservation of the Patagonian Wilderness, but they are making organic wines too.

Chile is also well particularly known for making some of the most popular Sauvignon Blanc in the world. The wines are light, refreshing, citrusy and enjoyable. The Sauvignon Blanc that we propose to you is a great example of it.
